It seems that every time a visitor from another part of the world comes to California to see us, Johan and I end up at the Getty Center. While that’s not really a bad thing, it does get a little tiresome. So today I had the opportunity to see the newly renovated Getty Villa in Malibu, due to the fact that my auntie Shaune and uncle Michael are in town for a week, on their way to Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. How happy I was to return to the peaceful Getty Villa after nearly eleven years. Though I only vaguely remember how it was before, I was so impressed with the remodel! And we really lucked out with a gorgeous California “winter” day.

After all the wandering, we had a nice lunch at the cafe, the food was really excellent. Now home, all I can be bothered with is husmanskost these days. Too much work I suppose. But it was a good day!
