A nice reprieve from the everyday came last weekend when I did merchandise for Air, for two shows. And since I didn’t have to vend the shirts, I actually talked to the band and crew and had nice chats about all kinds of interesting things. It was pretty fun.

Sadly yesterday, I got into a horrible car accident. On my way to get Johan from work some person suddenly jerked in front of me and before I could do a thing, we had a head on collision. After the airbags deployed and I realizd what had happened, I stumbled out of the car only to see the car reversing, tires squealing, and I watched in disbelief as they sped off down the hill!!

All the surrounding neighbors came outside and I sat down and cried and cried. I have to say, my little car held up, and I’m not dead, so I’m pretty thankful. I’m really angry though about the hit and run, does no one have a conscience? So now I just have three more weeks here with no car (I’m of to NY next week for some reconnaisance work, the SF for two days of fun at the St. Regis). I’ll be happy to never drive again, though I am enjoying my rental car, a new VW Rabbit.
