Bamboo cutting board, a lovely gift from my mama!

Things are pretty good here. I finally got some comfy boots, to carry me through the winter. I haven’t been cooking so much, mostly due to the work schedule. A sad fact, but hopefully one I can remedy soon. I do have to say, I miss my All Clad and Wusthof terribly. I’m cooking bare bones here, which seems bizarre considering our landlords love to cook. A tagine, sure, but a sharp knife… not to be found. Don’t get me wrong, we have the ideal setup here, I just miss the comforts of a food loving home, you know? Baking though, thats easy. Cookies are my M.O. this Fall/Winter. And bread. I can’t wait until my sister arrives and we really tear up the kitchen!
