A big exhale.

Today is the first day in three weeks that we’ve been visitor free, and even though the company has been pleasant, its sort of a big relief to have our space once again. Johan’s friend Gabriel came first, from Sweden. It was extremely enjoyable to have him around, and he and I went to a few museums together on my days off. Most evenings we went out for dinner, something Johan was really excited to do with Gabriel. I think we successfully showed him a good cultural and culinary experience in New York, in my own opinion anyways. The second visitor was Gabrielle’s friend Jamie, another easy going personality. The two mostly shopped, ate, and went out, and Johan and I joined them a few nights ago for (our first!) dinner at Balthazar. Oysters, escargots, steaks, and duck shepherds pie (in all opinions, the nights winning dish). And of course, cab antics:
A night in, cooking a simple dinner and relaxing is a beautiful thing though!
